At Keegan’s Pack Goats, we bring the world of working pack goats to fairs, festivals, parades, and special events through an educational, interactive, and family-friendly experience.

Our goal is to introduce people to these remarkable animals and show how pack goats have worked alongside people for generations. Throughout the day, visitors can meet our goats up close, see their saddles, packs, and equipment, ask questions, and learn how pack goats are raised, trained, cared for, and prepared for life on the trail.

A big part of our exhibit is our live pack goat demonstrations. We typically present two or three shows each day, giving visitors the opportunity to see the goats' training in action. They navigate teeter-totters and elevated platforms, carry packs, follow commands, load into trailers, work through obstacles, and demonstrate balance, confidence, and other skills that translate directly to the backcountry.

While the demonstrations are fun to watch, everything has a purpose. These aren't simply tricks—they are exercises we use to develop safe, confident, dependable working pack goats and trail companions.
